Cannes, May 25, 2023: The Global Gift Foundation is pleased to announce the resounding success of the 1st Together We Give Gala, a groundbreaking merger of two leading foundations, We Do It Together and the Global Gift Foundation. This spectacular event took place in the stunning setting of La Môme Plage during the prestigious Cannes Film Festival and was dedicated to the empowerment of women.
The renowned actress, entrepreneur and philanthropist María Bravo, together with the film producer and founder of We do it Together, Chiara Tilesi, had the honor of hosting this unforgettable gala, which was attended by a distinguished honorary host: the charismatic French singer and actor Kendji Girac.
The gala was also attended by prominent figures from the world of cinema, art, entertainment and fashion: the Hollywood actress, director and producer, with her unwavering support for the mission of the Global Gift Foundation, Eva Longoria, the Spanish actor and model Iván Sánchez, Canadian film producer Andrea Iervolino, multi-award winning film producer and philanthropist Lady Monika Bacardi, actors Meryem Uzerli, Richa Chadha, Luca Calvani and Hofit Golan, artists Richard Orlinski, Johann Perathoner and Auguste, as well as the French model Silvie Tellier, the models Baptiste Giabiconi and Charly Poirier, the model and influencer Michelle Salas, the influencers Isabeau Delatour and Rayan Laviolette, and one of the most influential businessmen in the world of restoration in Marbella and great supporter of the Global Gift Foundation’s charitable causes, Zazou Belounis, joined this dream night to make a difference.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the dazzling performance of the singers Reyes Heritage, son and grandson of the vocalist of the group Gipsy Kings who conquered the stage and captivated the audience with his incredible talent.
The gala was presented by the talented broadcaster and international press journalist Tom Urquhart. One of the most anticipated moments was the live auction that was directed by the irreplaceable Jonathan Gould, who starred in the most endearing moments of the night thanks to his particular and unique sense of humor.
Guests had the opportunity to bid on exclusive items and one-of-a-kind experiences, generously donated to support the foundation: a work by the world’s best-selling contemporary French artist since 2015, Richard Orlinski was auctioned at €45,000; and the work of another contemporary artist Thierry Guetta also known as Mr. Brainwash reached the figure of 50,000 euros.
Funds raised will directly contribute to our efforts to empower women and children in need.
