On September 14 with Gary Dourdan and Amaury Nolasco at the Grand Hyatt Hotel

Madrid, August 12, 2022: This international event, The Global Gift Gala, is the main event of the Global Gift Foundation and one of the most important charitable initiatives in the world. Created by actress, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Maria Bravo, it brings together and blends the worlds of business, celebrity, and philanthropy to raise funds and awareness, making a substantial difference in the lives of children and women around the world. Currently this gala that is held in Paris, Cannes, London, Marbella, Madrid, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, expands horizons to Tokyo. The 1st edition of this international event in Japan will take place on September 14 at the impressive Grand Hyatt hotel in Tokyo and will feature Hollywood stars such as Gary Dourdan and Amaury Nolasco, as well as contemporary British artist Sacha Jafri, world-renowned for creating the world’s largest painting on canvas, “The Journey of Humanity”, for seven months in the COVID-19 pandemic in Dubai, the three ambassadors of the Global Gift foundation. The event will be hosted by Dubai-based British radio and TV presenter Tom Urquhart and bilingual MC, interviewer Miss Ako Sakakura, as well as auctioneer Thomas Forrester. Attendees will dance to the flamenco rhythm of the Reyes Heritage, as well as many other surprises.

The winner of this edition will be the artist Joaquín Ganga, who will receive the Global Gift Utopia Award.

The event will be for the benefit of Vamos Together Yokohama, an organization of former baseball player, Alex Ramirez, whose mission is to foster the individuality and talent of those with special needs, guiding them towards a world where they can live independently. It will also benefit Casa Ángeles by Global Gift Foundation, an inclusive day center for children with special needs and their families that Maria Bravo has founded in the city of Marbella.

The event is co-organized by the Keio University Inbound Tourism Research Center and is supported by the Japan Tourism Agency and the Japan National Tourism Organization.

  • The main sponsor is the Japanese drink YOUNNES from the Nishi Shuzo company, which was founded more than a century and a half ago in the hills of Kagoshima, in Kyushu, the southernmost of the four main Japanese islands. Global Gift Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization whose goal is to create positive change in the development, well-being, health and social inclusion of the most vulnerable. The Foundation provides shelter, food, clothing, education, medical care and other vital necessities to vulnerable groups, particularly children and women in need.
