Marbella launches a new tourism campaign at FITUR 2025 with Eva Longoria and Maria Bravo as ambassadors of the city
Marbella, January 16, 2025: Marbella is preparing to dazzle at FITUR 2025 with a new and exciting promotional campaign starring the renowned actress, director and activist, Eva Longoria, and the entrepreneur and philanthropist María Bravo. The initiative, which will be officially presented at an exclusive cocktail party on January 21 at the NuBel restaurant of the Reina Sofía Museum, was announced yesterday at a press conference by the mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, and with the presence of Maria Bravo.
The mayor said: “As you will see throughout the press conference, this tourism campaign that begins in 2025 with FITUR, goes hand in hand with Maria Bravo, who has a lot to do with the image we want to convey about Marbella.” The mayor thanked María and her entire team for their dedication and effort to make this campaign with Eva Longoria a reality. The campaign consists of a video in which, in a conversation between friends, Maria Bravo asks Longoria a series of questions, which she answers naturally and pleasantly, revealing the wonderful experience of living in Marbella. The video was filmed entirely at Casa Ángeles, the day centre for children and young people with special needs, founded in Marbella by María Bravo.
The mayor highlighted the “generosity and availability” of Eva Longoria and Maria Bravo, stressing that both have decided to participate in this project altruistically, Longoria, due to her close ties with the city and her commitment to local solidarity initiatives, such as Casa Ángeles and the Global Gift Foundation.

During the presentation, Ángeles Muñoz explained that the campaign spots have been recorded in English and Spanish, with the aim of maximising their impact on international markets. In the video, Eva Longoria shares personal reflections in a conversation with María Bravo, highlighting phrases such as “Everything is here, in Marbella” and “There is something special here, a wonderful energy”.
Muñoz stressed that “with such powerful phrases associated with a brand like Marbella and with the help of Eva Longoria and Maria Bravo, we will take another step towards the goal we have set ourselves of continuing to break the seasonality and attracting a visitor with a higher average spending who extends their stays and visits us more frequently”.

The campaign not only seeks to strengthen the image of Marbella as a unique destination of excellence in the world, but also to promote sustainable and quality tourism. The participation of Eva Longoria, who will spend time in Marbella with her family, and is involved in local solidarity projects of her friend Maria Bravo, reinforces this strategy and highlights the cultural and social wealth of the city.
María Bravo, for her part, has expressed her gratitude for the collaboration and support received for Casa Ángeles, a project that reflects her commitment to the local community and her passion for improving the lives of children and young people with special needs in Marbella.
Marbella’s participation in FITUR 2025 promises to be a significant milestone, consolidating the city as an international tourist reference and demonstrating once again why it is chosen as a destination by world-renowned figures.
